Our Production Process
Our jaggery production involves the following key steps:
- Juicing: Sugarcane is harvested, crushed, and the juice (nira) is extracted.
- Filtering and Boiling: The juice is filtered and boiled in large pans to remove impurities.
- Concentrating: The juice is cooked until it thickens into a brown syrup called “gulali.”
- Cooling and Shaping: The thick syrup is cooled and shaped into two types:
- Jaggery Powder: The thick syrup is scraped and broken down into granules.
- Jaggery Blocks: The syrup is poured into molds to form solid blocks.
This traditional process ensures that our products retain their authentic flavor and aroma, making them unique and high-quality.
